Conventions Used In This Reference
I use the DTD operators below to formally describe the tag's contents.

I mark stand alone/empty tags with <jar/>
in contrast to container tags
<jnlp>..</jnlp>
.
Stand alone/empty tags cannot contain any text or tags. Container tags with an end tag can contain text or tags or both.
